Today Myles was such a sweet boy. Sometimes in the evenings he's fussy or tired, but today he was just sweet and cuddly. He was playing with the camera and figured out how to turn it on and he took a picture of himself.
Although this blog is not updated daily, it's a way to keep family and friends close when everyone seems so far away!

lots of stuff to pack
This morning when I got up I realized I had slept 9 hours - I couldn't believe it! Even crazier than that...Myles slept a full 12 hours, and Luke slept 10 and 1/2 hours. We packed all day and are all very tired now! Myles kept finding random things all over the house to play with so I snapped a shot of him spinning this tupaware thing.

lots of time in the car with a rice cake
Today we drove down to Charlotte to do some things. We were in the car a lot, but overall Myles did good. I don't know who all reads this blog, but I think it's mostly family - but in case you don't know, Luke and I are moving to Charlotte. We've been praying about moving down there for a while, but things are finally starting to fall into place. So we went to look at some rental houses today, then we went to a downtown park and on the way home we stopped to eat at Luke's favorite restaurant, 'Keytons'. Then when we got to Wilkesboro we had to go by Staples to get paper, then back to church so Luke could print off a bunch of things. It took a really long time because the computer there is really old. Myles had fun playing and running around. Earlier in the day when we were riding so much I gave Myles a rice cake, he's so cute eating it !

mowing the driveway
Today Myles had a good day at daycare, he's been sleeping longer in the mornings and at daycare this week - one of his teachers said he must be going through a growth spurt. This evening when we got home and got out of the car he got upset because he saw his lawn mower in the garage. So after supper we took him outside and let him push his mower around in the driveway. It's easier to push it in the driveway because the grass is all bumpy and hilly. When I got my camera out and just as I pushed the button Myles pointed at and yelled at something. After I took the picture I looked and there wasn't anything there. He's so funny.
